Trust me when I say this, Virtual assistants are Trust me when I say this,

Virtual assistants aren’t going anywhere.

As a virtual assistant coach to over 300 women worldwide, now is not the time to let go of your virtual assistant business because things seem “slow”.

It is much harder to reconnect with your audience if you’ve ghosted them.

I’m not saying it is not possible but the reason you’ve ghosted your audience as an answer to ghosting your business isn’t because you wanted to:

You’re listening to others and comparing your journey to theirs
You’ve convinced yourself that you’re not growing
You’re confused on what to say or you don’t say anything at all
You’re not sure if you’re getting better, there’s no way to track
You’re stuck at the same income and unsure how to break through

What you’ve created is a superpower. Something you can tap into for a season or as your new career. You still have time to be the assistant that everyone raves about.

How I can support you:

In my 90-minute strategy session, I will help you identify the exact areas of improvement, streamline your process, and make sure you’ve got a plan to never have to ghost your business again.

    Here’s what I’ve noticed, Some individuals s Here’s what I’ve noticed,

Some individuals struggle to take the necessary actions or make the right decisions to achieve their goals because they fail to recognize their potential, lack confidence, or fail to develop and implement strategies that could lead them to success.

Success requires your full participation and attention. That could look like this:

Acknowledging there’s another way and you may not know it, but someone else does.
Showing up regardless of what others are doing
Being open to unlearning things you knew before
Bringing thought to the table
Investing in yourself personally & professionally

When you focus on being a part of your success, taking ownership of your decisions and how they affect you, you’ll then begin to participate in your success.

You still have so much time to be everything you ever wanted to be.

If you ever have the chance to risk it, I hope you If you ever have the chance to risk it, I hope you do.

The biggest risk of my life was leaving my job to pursue entrepreneurship full time without a backup plan. Something I never seen done around me or in my family.

Looking back, would I recommend you do the exact same? Absolutely not.

Here’s what I would recommend:

1. Do not quit your 9-5.
Although I loved/hated my job I could’ve kept it while building my business. Would it have been harder? I’m sure but truly entrepreneurship is just hard there’s so many levels to this.

USE YOUR 9-5 to build your business. You need that income to live while you get your businesss foundation in place AND consistent income flowing in.

2. Identify what you’re already good at.
Please stop listening to these folks on the Internet, telling you that you can just make money doing anything. It’s predatory and not sustainable. If you aren’t already good at it or passionate about it I wouldn’t suggest you build your business around it.

You already have great skills that are transferable - focus on those first.

3. Be yourself
The first thing people tend to do when desperately trying to start a business is look at someone to copy that has some level of success. Of course, nothing new is under the sun, but in every industry, there’s always a gap waiting to be filled. Focus on that. Fill the gaps by bringing a new edge, your way, a new perspective and watch YOUR people find you.

4. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.
The change you crave has already been paved for you — you more than likely will not be the first to ever do it. Therefore don’t be blind to the resources around you. The wealth of knowledge around you.

Seek true guidance from those that have a track record, proven frameworks and methods to doing what you desire to do.

5. Expect things to NOT be quick and easy.
I’ll never forget someone saying we live in a microwave world — everything we want, we want it fast. But everything around us that lasts, takes years to build.

If you desire to truly change your life, don’t expect it to happen overnight.

No one prepared me for this. …The amount of wo No one prepared me for this.

…The amount of work that’s needed to not only start a business, but to not fall into the workaholic cycle year after year.

Around year 2, I started to feel extremely overwhelmed with the amount of work that constantly got added to my to do list. It just never felt like it would get to a point where it was manageable. Or so I thought.

I remember asking my business coach “when does the work stop? I’m just exhausted.”

Her response was, “it doesn’t; you just learn to create the right balance between doing what needs to be done and what can wait.

That was the first time I realized that in my mind I was prioritizing everything all at once which left me to work around the clock; because I mean everything needed to get done. But working around the clock meant that I had no time in my personal life to focus on what really matters.

After experiencing extreme burnout, I realize that the work really doesn’t stop yes. But, It was my job to sustain my business in a way that didn’t mean I was sacrificing my mental health or relationships as @jessmmassey would say it.

So as a recovering workaholic, I encourage you to spend time determining what really is the priority in your personal life and in your business.

Ask yourself how can I create a structure that allows me to balance both?

The way that I do this in my life is I treat my business as I would a 9 to 5 I work within set hours and what cannot get done can move to another day. Now this obviously doesn’t work every single day, but it’s a structure that definitely works for me.

Because I can promise you, you may be able to work around the clock now, but slowly you will burn out, your relationships will suffer, you’ll build resentment for your business and taking short breaks is not going to fix that.
